Posted on Yelp Anna Z.March 3, 2026Verified Our child has been here for about over 6 months, starting when she was 1.5 years old. There are a couple of things that have really impressed us. First, the school consistently keeps everything clean and well-sanitized, which is very important to us in helping prevent illness. Second, even when she has a runny nose, her face is always kept clean. We truly appreciate the teachers' attention to detail and patience.Posted on Yelp Emily C.February 25, 2026Verified We love Willow Tree and recommend this school/daycare to everyone! Our son, Cedar, has been so happy, engaged, and loving the care at Willow Tree. When we used to take him to a different daycare, he cried for over 2.5 months at drop off. On the 3rd day of Willow Tree, he willingly went to the teacher and waved "goodbye!" It was the relief we needed. Since then, Cedar runs to school from the car and we can see a huge change in how happy he is. The three teaches in the Bunny class are amazing and we really appreciate the Director's communication. At the parent teacher conference, you can tell how much the teachers love and care for your kid. They gave so many examples and stories of where my son shines and his personality! The care is amazing, the teachers are so fun and loving, they do crafts all the time, he's learning Chinese, manners, etc. I can rave and rave about Willow Tree all day. We found the right spot for our family.Posted on Yelp Karen Z.February 23, 2026Verified My daughter is in their Bunny class and we have had a wonderful experience to date. The teachers are very communicative and we catch up frequently on her development, interests, and areas for more monitoring. The teachers have been so kind to her and to us, and I feel confident and comfortable knowing she is in a safe and nurturing space. She has gotten exposure to music, dancing, reading, art and of course - language and culture. My daughter has learned a lot of mandarin in school and often surprises me with the new words she learns! Where she has development areas, they have also told me about them and what they've done to help. The other perks are they provide meals and there are a lot of daily photos for me to see what she's up to. My husband and I are very grateful our daughter is taken care of and growing with Willow Tree.Posted on Yelp Geer C.February 20, 2026Verified We've been at this daycare for about 8 months, and it has honestly meant a lot to our family. Our daughter is in the Bunny Class, and the teachers there are amazing. They are always smiling, warm, and full of positive energy. You can feel that they truly care about the kids, not just in what they say, but in how they show up every day. They are incredibly patient and attentive. They take time to understand each child and are always willing to listen to parents. It never feels rushed or dismissive, which we really appreciate. One of the things that stands out the most is how loving they are. They comfort the kids, hold them, and pay attention to their little personalities and needs. That kind of care is hard to find and means everything as a parent. We also love how engaging the program is. There's a lot of singing, reading, and creative activities. The crafts are so thoughtful and creative, and we end up keeping almost all of them. They also celebrate different holidays, and the monthly themed photos are something we really look forward to. It's also a very inclusive environment with families from different backgrounds, which makes it feel like a big, welcoming community. The director is approachable and open to feedback, which builds a lot of trust. Overall, we just feel really thankful that our daughter is here!Posted on Yelp Will S.January 2, 2026Verified Our daughter, Aviana, joined Willow Tree in 2021, during COVID, as part of the first Tiger class when she was three years old. After a wonderful nanny-share at home--where we could closely observe and control every aspect of her day--my wife and I were understandably nervous about transitioning her to preschool. We did extensive research and toured nearly ten preschools and daycares. Willow Tree immediately stood out. From the very beginning, it was clear that the director, Liu, and the entire staff were genuinely loving and attentive caregivers. From her first day, Aviana loved going to school. Her development accelerated noticeably--she made friends, gained confidence, and even happily ate the school-made lunches. We initially had questions about the Mandarin immersion program and whether it might delay Aviana's English development. Liu reassured us that the opposite would be true, explaining that children's brains at that age are "like sponges," capable of absorbing far more than we often realize. She was absolutely right. Aviana's English continued to flourish, and her Mandarin grew from zero to a working knowledge of the language--truly incredible. To sum it up: if we had to do it all over again, we would choose Willow Tree without hesitation. Two years later, we enrolled our younger daughter, Amelia, when she was just a year and a half old. She began in the Bunny class, moved on to Penguin, and is now in Tiger. She loves it. Her Mandarin is now as strong as her English, even though we speak only English at home. On more than one occasion, I've caught Amelia dreaming in Mandarin--a constant reminder of how much she has learned in such a short time. Willow Tree has provided an exceptional academic and developmental foundation for both of our girls, along with a truly welcoming and supportive community. As Amelia prepares to graduate, we know we'll remain connected through the friendships our daughters have built and the families we've come to know beyond the classroom. We couldn't be more grateful for Willow Tree.Posted on Yelp Nora H.January 2, 2026Verified I'm happy to work at Willow Tree Preschool, where children's meals, activities, and care are all given great attention. The kids enjoy diverse, nutritious meals and plenty of snacks, and teachers can really spend quality time with each child thanks to a good teacher-to-student ratio. Daily lessons and activities--from storytime and art to music, movement, and outdoor play--keep children engaged, while elective classes and special workshops give them extra chances to explore new skills. Graduation performances and holiday events are thoughtfully planned, letting kids have fun and show their growth and talents. The director is supportive, and the team is full of patience, care, and dedication. I'm proud to be part of it.Posted on Yelp Ms. T.December 23, 2025Verified We had a great experience with the new school on 85th. The teachers are all so enthusiastic, kind, and patient. My son learned so much and truly enjoyed all the arts, play time, park visits, and soccer practice. He speaks Mandarin now at home! The new building is really nice and it has only three classrooms so it has a cozy friendly feeling but the classrooms are huge so the kids have a lot of space to play even indoors. I also really loved the food. They feed the kids Chinese food and delicious hot meals. Additionally for an added fee they have longer hours for those who have to work early or later which is a great option.Posted on Yelp Emily G.December 7, 2025Verified I've been working at Willow Tree for a while now, and it has really become more than just a workplace to me. I feel happy coming in each day, knowing I get to help our kiddos grow and learn with love and patience. It's a very special feeling. One thing I really appreciate is our teacher-to-student ratio. It's higher than what the state requires, and that truly makes a difference. The kids get more attention, and we teachers don't feel stretched too thin. It allows us to slow down, connect, and actually be present with each child. Our director is warm, approachable, and very dedicated. She listens, she supports, and she genuinely cares about creating a positive environment not only for the kids and families, but also for all of us teachers. You can really feel that. The children are happy here--they're always exploring, laughing, and learning in a clean, safe, and cozy space. And the teachers pour their hearts into their work every single day. We're always trying to make things better, step by step. I'm truly grateful to be part of a team that cares so deeply. Kindness, teamwork, and the kids' well-being are always at the center of everything we do.Posted on Yelp David P.August 27, 2025Verified Willow Tree preschool has been a great experience for our daughter. She joined the Penguin class just after she turned 2 years old and her Mandarin Chinese has blossomed from the exposure at the school. I'm so surprised how much Chinese she can understand and speak and she can even sing songs in Chinese. While I can speak Chinese, I usually forget to so it's great to know she's able to learn it at school. The teachers we've been exposed to at WT have all been warm and inviting. Our daughter doesn't warm easily and the transition was long and difficult but the teachers embraced her with love and care. I was a little skeptical at first to hear there were 20 kids, such a big class, but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Because there are 20 kids, there are also 3-4 teachers. By having extra teachers, this helps when a kid or two are having a meltdown or just need a little extra love and attention. With some of the kids in the class being older and being able to better regulate and play with themselves, this left the extra teachers to help with the younger, new kids who needed extra help. We attended a different preschool briefly before WT where there were 7 kids and 1 teacher and that teacher seemed to just be in survival mode because they couldn't get to all the kids that needed attention or assistance. Whereas the WT teachers always seemed happy and had good energy. We also love Liu, the director. She cares deeply for the kids and brings amazing energy. It's always a joy to run into her and catch up. Your kids will be in good hands at WT!Load more

The teachers are attentive, kind, and loving, and our daughter is clearly enriched by the activities they organize. I’m so glad we found Willow Tree and would recommend to truly anyone!Posted on Google Emily RowenApril 1, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our son has been at Willow Tree for a little less than a year and I can honestly say it’s been a fantastic experience. He went from English-only to almost fully fluent in mandarin. He has learned how to socialize properly in a classroom and has accumulated so many valuable skills (motor, social emotional, and language). Most importantly, our son has a safe, loving and warm community where the teachers really see who he is and celebrate his unique talents. This is a well-structured intentional program with a lot to offer.Posted on Google Chunlei ZhouMarch 22, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The meals are great, and we really appreciate the variety of healthy food options provided. The daily activities are engaging and well-balanced, helping kids learn while having fun. Most importantly, the teachers are warm, caring, and attentive—they create a safe and nurturing environment for the children. We’re very happy with our experience here and would highly recommend it to other families!Posted on Google Anindya Shanker MitraMarch 2, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This daycare truly deserves more than five stars. From the moment we joined, we felt how warm and welcoming the environment is, and it has made such a positive difference for our family. Even though the outdoor space is not very large, it is thoughtfully set up with a variety of equipment that keeps the kids active and happy. The school also provides many fun and enriching activities like soccer, dancing, and park visits, which shows how much care and intention they put into creating joyful experiences for the children. The teachers are absolutely wonderful. The low teacher-to-student ratio allows each child to receive plenty of attention and support, and you can genuinely feel that the teachers enjoy being there and truly care about the kids. Ms. Hu and Ms. Tao are especially patient, attentive, and loving. Our daughter now sees Ms. Hu as her “second mom,” which says everything about the trust and bond they have built. Communication with the school is always clear, responsive, and reassuring for parents. We are also very impressed by how thoughtfully the learning activities are designed. The teachers put so much creativity into their teaching materials — for example, they made a cardboard “TV” with scrolling posters that create moving pictures for storytelling. The toys are always clean, modern, and up to date, and the daily curriculum includes different themes and activities that keep learning engaging and fun. Most importantly, we have seen an incredible transformation in our daughter, Anya. She used to be very quiet and shy, but with the teachers’ love, patience, and encouragement, she has gradually become much more outgoing, confident, and joyful. We are truly grateful for everything they have done for her. We feel very lucky to be part of this community and highly recommend this daycare to any family looking for a caring and nurturing environment.Posted on Google AnnaZFebruary 27, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our child started at this school when he was two and a half years old. At the time, he was very sensitive and lacked a sense of security, and we were honestly worried about how he would adjust. The teachers were incredibly patient and supportive, gently helping him adapt at his own pace. With their care and encouragement, he gradually built confidence and a sense of security. He has also become more and more independent, which has been wonderful to see. Watching his growth and transformation has been such a relief and joy for us as parents. Now he goes to school happily every day. The new 85th Street campus is spacious and bright, creating a wonderful learning environment. His recent classroom transition was also very smooth, thanks to the thoughtful preparation and support from the staff. We are so glad we chose this school and are very happy with our decision.Posted on Google Mengnan ChenFebruary 25, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Highly recommend Willow Tree Chinese Preschool! Our child has been in the Bunny Class since the new location opened in July 2025. Starting as a 15-month-old, the transition was smooth thanks to the wonderful teachers who truly care about each child's well-being. The immersion environment is fantastic, and the new campus is a beautiful space for kids to learn and play. It’s been a joy watching our child thrive here over the last several months. A great choice for families looking for a high-quality Chinese program!Posted on Google Amy CFebruary 20, 2026Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our daughter has been at this daycare for about 8 months, and it has truly been such a special place for our family. She is in the Bunny Class, and the teachers there are just incredibly sweet. Every single day they greet us with genuine smiles, and you can feel their positive energy right away. It never feels like “just a job” to them. They truly love the kids, and that shows in everything they do. They spend a lot of time singing and reading, and they are so patient. They really take the time to understand each child, and they also listen carefully to parents. As a parent, that means a lot. You feel heard and supported. What touches me the most is how caring they are. They hold the kids, comfort them, and pay attention to their individual needs. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing my daughter is with people who genuinely care about her. The creativity is also amazing. Every time she brings home a craft, I’m honestly impressed. You can tell a lot of thought and effort goes into it. They celebrate every holiday, and we especially treasure the monthly themed photos we get to take home. Those little things mean so much. They also teach the kids love and kindness, like saying “I love you,” greeting others, and interacting warmly with friends. It’s really heartwarming to see those things come out at home. The whole school feels warm and welcoming, with families from all different backgrounds. It really feels like a community. The director is also open to feedback and truly listens to parents.
